VELHO BARREIRO GOLD
Velho Barreiro Gold reveals by its name and its dark color, that it still contains an increase. After three years of maturation in barrels of Jequitibá oak flavors are added, which smell pleasant in the nose. Sweet and soft, it laps the palate, lingers for a long time and causes a desire for more Velho Barreiro Gold. In cocktails with sweet and sour ingredients such as caipirinha (with lime juice and white cane sugar) or a sour variant (with protein and a sweet & sour mix), this 3-year-old cachaça proves to be a worthy basic spirit.
- Caipirinha (Cachaça)
o The cocktail is traditionally drunk after the feijoada. It is interesting that the contained sugar cane rum only as Cachaça called if this was made in Brazil. Also used for Caipirinha no brown cane sugar (probably a European invention) but fine white cane sugar. The difference in taste is enormous and the annoying coarse sugar grains are not in the mouth.
