Bottle deposit & Return

A deposit ("bottle deposit") is charged for one-way beverage containers and reusable packaging purchased from Ponto Brasil & Latino in Germany and foreign countries.

According to the Packaging Act, we are obliged to charge a deposit on one-way beverage containers and reusable packaging and to take back empty one-way beverage containers and reusable packaging. When you return the empty beverage containers and reusable packaging (bottles, cans, glasses, etc.), you will be refunded the deposit fee incurred on purchase. You can return the non-returnable beverage containers and reusable packaging you bought from Ponto Brasil & Latino to a collection point near you (e.g. supermarket with a deposit return system). You will get the deposit amount back in cash at the drop-off point. A return to Ponto Brasil & Latino is not possible.

We thus ensure that the beverage containers are returned to the recycling cycle. In this way, better results are to be achieved in the return of packaging, packaging waste is to be reduced and a contribution to the fulfillment of the European recycling targets is to be ensured.
