o Der Cocktail wird traditionell nach der Feijoada getrunken. Interessant ist dass der enthaltene Zuckerrohrrum nur als Cachaça bezeichnet wenn dieser in Brasilien hergestellt wurde. Auch verwendet man für den Caipirinha keinen braunen Rohrzucker (wohl eher eine europäische Erfindung ) sondern feinen weißen Rohrzucker. Der geschmackliche Unterschied ist enorm und die lästigen groben Zuckerkörner hat man auch nicht im Mund.
