The -Doce de leite- is a traditional sweet from different Latin American countries. It is usually done by boiling milk with sugar, but also by sweetened condensed milk which is brought to a boil for several hours or for about 40 to 60 minutes in the pressure cooker.
The milk caramel cream is ideal as a bread cream or for filling pies or cakes.

Die Marke entstand 1977 im Süden von Brasilien, Machado in Minas Gerais. Alles begann mit 30 Litern Milch am Tag um eine Süßliche Creme herzustellen. Diese entstand in der einfachsten Küche mit Töpfen und einem Gas Herd.
Heute werden fas 15.000 Liter Milch am Tag verarbeitet und nach ganz Brasilien exportiert.
