Dulce De Batata ist ein traditionelles südamerikanisches Dessert aus Süßkartoffeln. Es hat eine geleeartige aber feste Konsistenz und kann perfekt in Scheiben geschnitten werden. In Argentinien wird es häufig neben einer Scheibe Käse mit Nüssen serviert, kann aber auch auf dem Frühstückstisch gefunden werden. Ähnliche Versionen dieses Süßkartoffel-Desserts findet man auch in Nachbarländern wie Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile und Brasilien (wo es Marrom Glacê genannt wird).
