Bocadillo de Guayaba (guava jelly) is a culinary delight that combines the rich sweetness of guava with the convenience of a snack. It can be cut into perfectly slices that bring out the intensity of the guava in every bite.

Bocadillo is usually eaten with cheese or bread or simply eaten on its own. The jelly is prepared in a similar way to jams and marmalades: the guavas are first washed, peeled and pureed. The pulp is then cooked with panela (whole cane sugar) in water at a low temperature for several hours until the mixture has a thick consistency. After that, it´s cooled down and moulded into blocks.
