Manufacturer "FANTA"
Fanta is a globally recognized brand known for its sparkling and fruity soft drinks. Originally developed in Germany in the 1940s, Fanta is now part of the Coca-Cola Company and is one of the most popular brands in its portfolio. The story of Fanta begins in 1940 during World War II. Due to trade restrictions, Coca-Cola in Germany could no longer import the necessary ingredients to make their classic drink. Max Keith, the then head of Coca-Cola Germany, then developed a new drink from available ingredients such as whey and apple pulp. The result was Fanta, named after the German word “fantasy”. After the war, Fanta was further developed and quickly gained worldwide popularity, particularly with the introduction of Fanta Orange in the 1950s.
