LEYENDA Edición 5 Aniversario is a special edition of Leyenda, one of the most successful products from Casa Brugal. This exquisite spirit was created to honor the legacy of Don Andrés Brugal Montaner, founder of the world-renowned company and one of the pioneers of spirit production in the Dominican Republic.
LEYENDA 5 Aniversario is a blend of carefully selected aged distillates. Its complex maturation process takes place in two stages: first, it is aged for 2 to 5 years in American oak barrels (ex-bourbon), followed by an additional 4 to 6 years in European red oak casks (ex-Oloroso sherry).
The spirit displays a beautiful dark amber color with reddish reflections. On the nose, it reveals a woody bouquet with subtle notes of forest fruits and delicate hints of spiced honey. On the palate, it is elegant, robust, and complex, with a gentle and pleasant sweetness. The finish is smooth, long-lasting, and intense.
