Mezcal Zignum is a well-known brand from Oaxaca, Mexico, which specializes in the production of high-quality mezcals. Zignum is distilled in the "Casa Armando Guillermo Prieto", one of the largest and most modern mezcal production facilities in Mexico. The mezcal is made from 100% Espadín agave, which thrives in the fertile soils of Oaxaca. Due to its high quality and high sugar content, this agave variety is ideal for the production of high-quality mezcal. After harvesting, the agave hearts, also known as "piñas", are traditionally cooked in underground ovens, fermented and then distilled. Maturation in American and French oak barrels gives the mezcals a special complexity and an unmistakable character.

What sets Zignum apart from other mezcal brands is its reduced smoky flavor, which is achieved using modern production methods. Zignum offers four different types of mezcal, each with different levels of maturity:
