In Mexico and much of Central America, a tortilla has become an integral part of the kitchen. KOMALI tortillas are made from corn and can be eaten alone (e.g. straight from the pan with butter), but usually serve as an important outer layer of burritos, tacos and enchiladas.
Tortillas can be filled with meat, guacamole, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, refried beans, fajitas, peppers and any combination of the above ingredients.
- Preparation note:
- Erwärmen Sie die Tortillas in einer auf 160 °C vorgeheizten Pfanne 40–60 Sekunden lang auf jeder Seite an, bis sie warm und weich sind.
- Storage note:
- Kühl (max. 25°C) und trocken lagern. Vor Hitze und Sonnenlicht schützen. Nach dem Öffnen im Kühlschrank aufbewahren und innerhalb von 3 Tagen verzehren.
